 FAQs

  • A group is a gathering of women at your parish that support each other with bible study, small groups, fellowship and service opportunities. Groups are known in the Council of Catholic Women as parish affiliates.

  • Affiliate is the term that NCCW uses for a women’s group in a parish that has completed a membership application and contributes financially toward the operation of the organization.

  • A core pillar of NCCW is spirituality support for women. Every parish affiliate will offer different programing focused on helping you grow in your catholic faith. Some offer small groups, some offer bible studies, others focus on larger keystone events like Advent by Candlelight. It will vary by affiliate. If you don’t find something you are looking for - that might mean God is waiting on you!

  • NCCW has been acting on our Christian faith and Catholic values for over 100 years. Each Council determines the social mission that they feel inspired to help. At a National level, NCCW currently donates time and money to Walking with Moms in Need, Cross Catholic Outreach, Stopping Child Labor and our own charity Vocation Purse Club.

  • Not at all -programing is open to everyone. All are welcome. However, over time we hope you will find us a meaningful ministry and desire to donate toward it’s operating expenses by becoming a NCCW member.
